About us

Windmill and Irrigation is a small family run business providing sales, installation and service of on farm and domestic water infrastructure. The business has been operating in Colac since 1986 and has recently been purchased by brothers Daniel and Ben Zappelli.

Daniel has worked at Windmill and Irrigation for over ten years, having done his apprenticeship here as well as a number of product specific accreditations and training over this time.

Ben, a qualified industrial engineer, has come across from the building industry and quickly gained skills and knowledge having attended a number of training courses and achieved the qualification of Certified Irrigation Retailer.

With access to a wide range of quality brands, they are able to tailor a solution to your individual needs and budget.  Although specialising in pivot and other farm irrigation and reticulation, no project is too small. From small garden tanks and pumps up to large capacity galvanised tanks, windmills, poly, PVC and fittings. Some of the major brands they support include Valley, Iplex, Phillmac, Yanmar, Dab, Guyco, Caprari, Lowarra, Bauer Trailco, Aquamate, Hatz and Lister to name a few.

They are also skilled at servicing line shaft turbine pumps, submersible electric pumps and windmills.  Equipped with 2 crane trucks they regularly pull out, service and repair existing equipment from the small 3” stock water pumps up to 8” irrigation pumps.
